Allen Greenman manages the Worcester Office for ERA Key Realty Services, with a team of roughly 40 agents dedicated to serving the Central Massachusetts and Metro-West of Boston Marketplaces. Allen is available to serve his clients Real Estate needs in conjunction with his management duties. “I believe that being a selling-manager, while non-competitive, keeps the pulse of the marketplace at my fingertips and allows me to better serve my agents in their day to day business challenges. It positively affects my training, leadership and experience.”

Prior to joining ERA Key Realty Services as a Manager, Allen was with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Shrewsbury where he was a member of the International Sterling Society, completed CBRB management training in Waltham, and was a regular top 5 producer in the the office.

A long-time Central Massachusetts resident; Allen is very familiar with the ebb and flow of his market. “The particulars that fascinate me are absorption rates for varying locales, and what buyers see as ‘value’ in a house and whether or not that’s incongruent with available inventory or seller expectation.”  The underlying factors driving market fluctuations largely center around national economic trends, consumer confidence, interest rates and such but looking at the market from a macro perspective enhances ones abilities to gauge demand, values and consequently absorption. Allen has, in instances,  called appraisals to the dollar.

Allen is a member of Preservation Worcester  having sat on the Board of Directors for many years, and Endangered Structures committee. Allen feels that this is a great way to give back to the city he loves:

I appreciate many different types of architecture and the interesting design aspects that can be found in both older homes and new construction. There is a neat house for every person; be it modern, antique or mixed style. I love to help people discover the home that just ‘fits.’ I have extensive resources on-hand for any situation. I love connecting people with that special house and being a long-lasting partner in your home.

My husband and I decided to buy a house on whim, it was a quick decision based on upcoming changes and we really weren’t prepared for the process. We put in a request through Trulia for more information on a home and Allen Greenman contacted us by phone almost immediately. We also submitted a request for more information on another house and spoke with another agent. Two days later we met both agents and viewed two different homes. Within minutes of meeting Allen we were convinced that he was the Realtor for us. As first time home buyers we were not really sure what to expect and had a lot of questions and concerns.
